Kitchen Installations

While JCS Carpentry & Woodworking builds "Holy Cow!" cabinets, we understand that you may have heard of us too late and purchased production cabinets.  Perhaps you’re watching property values go down so you elected to remodel Do it Yourself  fashion to boost your property value in order to avoid being upside down on your mortgage and you need an experienced carpenter to install the cabinets. 

We can install those production cabinets for you.

What we need when we arrive:

Maple Kitchen with ligthing effects using rope lights.

  • Your cabinets on site.
  • All rough plumbing completed and compliant with code.
  • All rough electrical completed and compliant with code.  Of important note is old outlets and recepticals.  If you have for instance an old live outlet that you want to go away, it is illegal to simply cover it up by installing a cabinet over it..  Either the outlet must be removed or the back panel must be altered to make the outlet accessible.
  • Walls plastered (or mudded) especially over the cabinet line.  While it is better for the whole install if all surfaces are leveled out. At the very least, draft tape below the cabinet line. 
  • We need to have previously consulted with you on site to ensure we don’t encounter surprises when we show up for work.
